The new Death Dance Organ was built in 1986 by the organ builder firm Alfred Führer in Wilhelmshaven. In the disposition and design similarities to the historical Death Dance organ were consciously avoided. The organ provides over 56 stops distributed between the Hauptwerk, Rückpositiv, Oberwerk und Pedal. The fully mechanical aspect of the organ is enhanced by an electrical registration mechanism with 32 "pre-set"- combinations.
The organ is perfectly suited for rendition of the organ works of Bach and the other old masters.
Romantic and modern works can be interpreted just as convincingly.
